Abstract
This study examines the decline in water inflows in the Tigris basin and its effect on agriculture and drinking water, and assesses options for demand management and irrigation modernisation, alongside the negotiating track with upstream countries.
The study relies on fifteen years of monthly discharge data and interviews with farmers and water resources officials in four provinces.
